In the frame of the multi-county gender project " Strengthening access to protection, participation and services for women refugees, Internally Displaced People (IDPs) and women in the host communities”, funded by the EU Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis, the EU “MADAD” Fund, EuroMed Feminist Initiative (EFI) in partnership with its partners in Jordan, Lebanon, and Iraq/Kurdish Region (KR-I) organized orientation session for the local organizations on the recent call for proposals on “Gender Equality and Social and Legal Change in their communities”.

In the frame of the multi-county project " Strengthening access to protection, participation and services for women refugees, Internally Displaced People (IDPs) and women in the host communities”, funded by the EU Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis, the EU “MADAD” Fund, EuroMed Feminist Initiative (EFI) in partnership with its partners in Iraq Women Empowerment Organizations (WEO) and Baghdad Women’s Association (BWA) are inviting the local organizations to submit their proposals on Gender Equality and Social and Legal Change in their communities.

Consultation session on the development of the 2nd Iraq National Action Plan (NAP II) for the implementation of UNSCR 1325

Following the launch of the National Report on the Implementation of  NAP 1325, a consultative meeting “Developing of Second National Action Plan for Implementation in Iraq of UNSCR 1325” took place on the 17th of December 2018 in Baghdad, Iraq. It was organized by the CSTF 1325 and supported by EFI and the UN Women.

The 2-year multi-country project “Strengthening access to protection, participation and services for women refugees, IDPs and host communities” funded by the European Union Regional Trust Fund in Response to the Syrian Crisis, the EU Madad Fund was kicked off in Kurdistan Region of Iraq (KR-I) by the first meeting of the Advisory Committee of the project in KR-I on the 2nd of December 2018 at the Ministry of Interior, Kurdish Regional Government (KRG)
