EFI organised a workshop on the Common Agenda, on 2nd and 3rd July, that brought together 26 young Syrian activists from different organisations in Europe. The workshop aimed to equip activists with the necessary thematic knowledge on gender equality, highlighting important issues such as United Nation Security Council Resolution 1325 and the question of violence against women and girls.

In the framework of the SIDA-funded programme « Supporting political transition in Syria through gender-sensitive social reconstruction » and in preparation of the Brussels Conference : « Supporting the future of Syria and the region » (9-10 May 2022), EuroMed Feminist Initiative and the Syrian Gender Advocacy Group (GAG) organised a side event followed by a GAG meeting (5-6 May 2022).
