The overall objective of the project is to contribute to the elimination of all forms of violence against women and girls (VAWG) in the Southern Neighborhood.

The specific objectives of the project are:

• VAWG is addressed by civil society (CS) and decision makers alike as a social and political issue.
• Increased capacities and number of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) that combat VAWG. 
• The establishment of a civil society Regional Observatory to follow up and monitor the governmental commitments in the area of VAWG, WPS and PVE as per the 4^th UfM Ministerial Declaration (Cairo, 2017).
