Consultation on the “Common Agenda for combating violence against women and girls as a major barrier to women's participation in Syria”

Euromed Feminist Initiative, in partnership with Musawa, organized a two-day consultation on the “Common agenda for combating violence against women and girls as a major barrier to women's participation in Syria”  from the 12th-13th of May 2023.

 

Bringing together 13 women’s rights and human rights activists, this event sparked important discussions and paved the way for transformative action. Participants delved into the complexities surrounding violence against women and explored innovative strategies to entrust  women and ensure their full participation in Syrian society.

 

This event took place in the frame of a program funded by the Swedish International Development Agency.
