Gender Advocacy Group meeting organised by Musawa: “Implementing the Common Agenda to combat Violence against women and girls (VAWG) and promote inclusive peace building processes in Syria”

The meeting allowed to take decisions on the future actions of the Gender Advocacy Group with regards to: 1) the upcoming international Donors’ Conferences and the advocacy responses to be prepared to push forward gender-focused recommendations, taking into account the recent earthquake; 2) the role of the Gender Advocacy Group and mechanisms to support women’s rights activists and local organisations’ initiatives to combat violence against women and girls.
