Training on the "Common Agenda for combating Violence Against Women and Girls as a major barrier to women's participation in Syria"

EuroMed Feminist Initiative (EFI), in collaboration with Musawa, organised a three-day training from May 9th to 11th, on “the Common Agenda for combating violence against women and girls as a major barrier to women's participation in Syria” in Beirut.  

 

The training  that was attended by  28  participants from all regions inside Syria, ensuring a rich tapestry of diverse views.

 

 Through dynamic discussions and knowledge sharing, EFI, Musawa and participants explored innovative strategies to address violence against women and dismantle the obstacles that hinder their active participation in society.

 

This training took place in the frame of a program funded by the Swedish International Development Agency.
