25 November is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The day is followed by an international campaign which runs until 10 December, Human Rights Day. Violence against women and girls (VAWG) is a violation of human rights and a form of discrimination. The campaign is marked by the colour orange which symbolizes a brighter future, free of violence. It’s time we orange the world with zero tolerance for violence against women and girls!
