Clémence Dumas
Clémence Dumas has been involved with local Turkish civil society organizations working on women’s rights and refugee protection for seven years. After graduating from a Master’s degree in International Relations in her country of origin, France, she decided to dedicate herself in supporting local social movements in Turkey and in particular the feminist movement, by joining KADAV (Women’s Solidarity Foundation) in 2017, a rights-based independent women's organization advocating for women's empowerment, working towards women's self-organizing as well as contributing to the elimination of violence against women, for which she currently works as a Project Coordinator since 2021. Participating in solidarity movements and scaling-up grassroots feminist practices in broader platforms towards increased cooperation and synergy is at the heart of Clémence’s engagement.
